Dragonflys

I went outside this afternoon to shake the bathroom rugs. This fine creature had landed on the clothesline. I had to go to the third floor to get my camera and didn't know if he would be there when I returned. The wind was still gusting and I couldn't seem to get a still shot so I kept shooting and shooting. I shook the rugs whent back in the house and back out he was still there, so I kept shooting.

I would have loved to get both dragonflies in focus at the same time but I also wanted to have them both in the photo. So I shot for the wings of the farther. Notice the little spider on the petal to the right.
